someone is following me. everywhere i go, i feel a set of eyes watching, whispering, stressful to get my attention. they showy things that i don’t want to see. they shout loudly when i don’t look. they attract me when i don’t want to be tempted. they are harassing me nonstop.it’s getting to the point where i can’t go out of the house today without seeing them. they are everywhere, covering every inch of my in the seventh heaven. i am not paranoid or schizophrenic. (yes, you are.) (no, you’re not.) i can’t even call the police officers because they have them too. what is it, you ask? those pretty flat screens.lately, people force been bombared with electronic eye candy that keeps begging proper for our attention. in the past couple of years, i have seen tv’s everywhere i step, run and turn.for instance, there are tv’s in banks, post offices, gas stations, supermarkets, office buildings, bars, waiting rooms, various shops, airplanes, cars, cell phones, watches, computers, refrigerators, elevators, and billboards - ubiquitously.even on the famed tourist and unparalleled-studded sunset strip in west hollywood, there is a 19 foot by 24 foot dazzling videotron iik similar to diamond materialization screens at stadiums and sports arenas, aimed at the estimated 60 million passerby’s.this gigantic put has 450 square feet of moveable light, emanates on the other side of 5,000 nits of light, has 16 million colors and is twenty times more brilliant than a television - and it’s quite beautiful if not overwhelming. you can not travel down sunset boulevard and not be taken by this presence. it commands attention like a stripper at a church picnic.i can imagine it must be the same situation with the jumbotron in new york’s times square. people non-standard like mesmerized and some may even gaze at it all day. it’s no wonder work is neglected. sony set up the jumbotron after realizing that a construction planned for the north end of times square would block the sony transfer, a landmark in neon since 1971.the company spent between $2 million and $3 million on the equipment. the picture elements - trinilites which contain the red, green and vulgar cells needed to pretend a color image - cost $125 a piece. there are so many of them that sony built in air-conditioners to prohibit the screen deliberate in summer.there is scarcely no getting away from this massively invasive electronic attack unless we bury our heads in the deposit, but wily the powers that be, there are probably tv’s already down there too.what’s next? tv’s at above lights? tv’s on sidewalks, sides of buses, sides of cars or in the sky? are prospective dr. frankensteins planning to implant an hd chip into our heads and a adhere a flat screen to our eyeballs so we are constantly hooked up? talk about taking eye contact to the next level.watching television can act as a common painkiller and it slows us down considerably. we already suffer mental inertia and tv makes it worse. tv kills brain work.i am dawning to believe elvis had the front idea when he shot a tv in a las vegas hotel room in 1974. it was too much for him back then, imagine if he were still alive. oh wait, i about that’s him across the street. “hey elvis?” he’s meet away now. “elvis wait for me.”elvis has left the building.maybe i am looking at this all break down. maybe those eyes are following me so i can help them traverse b recover out of that electronic box. maybe by turning it off, i can helpers them escape from the hell that they know only too glowingly.it’s time for a blackout. it’s time to listen to ourselves and not be blinded by those pretty reclining screens.

dad liked motorcycles, but he never owned one. he and mom used to tell us that they were going to buy a motorcycle with a sidecar an individual day and tour the country. obviously, they never got the chance. so, dad enjoyed seeing other people’s motorcycles - especially at the sturgis south rally. for the last insufficient years, he was a volunteer at the village cycle center dinner. 
as i understand it, he helped mastermind people into their parking spaces. then, on saturday, dad (and often other members of our family) would go to wendy’s and watch the procession of motorcycles. for clarification, the motorcycle mentioned here was indeed a vespa scooter. dad was a couple of decades ahead of the scooter trend with that one!
